The Scottish SPCA, Scotland’s only all animal emergency service, is seeking to recruit an Animal Rescue Officer to be based in the Tayside region and covering the surrounding areas.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of the thousands of abused, abandoned and injured animals rescued by the Scottish SPCA each year.
The successful applicant will have practical experience of working with animals, a keen interest in animal welfare and excellent customer care skills. In addition, a good geographical knowledge of the Tayside area or the ability to attain this quickly is essential. Candidates must also have a full UK manual driving licence.
The position will be working 7.5 hours per week, 2 days in 14, within a group rota between the hours of 7.30am and 11pm, to include weekend work.
