The Scottish SPCA, Scotland’s only all animal emergency service, is seeking to recruit an Auxiliary Inspector to be based on the Isle of Skye for a period of 6 months.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of the thousands of abused, abandoned and injured animals rescued by the Scottish SPCA each year.
Practical experience working with animals, a strong interest in animal welfare and excellent communication and customer care skills are essential. In addition, candidates will possess a full UK manual driving licence and their own vehicle.
Hours of work are between 7.30am and 11pm, and average of 6 hours per week, 2 days out of 14 on a rota basis to include weekends. You will also be required to cover for holidays and sickness therefore flexibility is key to delivering an effective service to the area.
