We’re the Scottish SPCA. Scotland’s all animal emergency service.

Rescue is the start of a journey through rehabilitation to release or rehoming. It means helping struggling owners. It means preventing emergency rescues through education. And it’s always relentless. Because the rescues never stop.

This is an exciting new role which will help establish and deliver a Community Veterinary Service model in Scotland. Supporting the Community RVN team, the successful candidate will help pilot our Pet Aid Community Veterinary hubs, primarily in the Glasgow area.  These hubs will be based within the communities we wish to serve and will include working from a mobile veterinary unit.

This role will involve working directly with animals from disadvantaged homes by practicing and encouraging a pragmatic approach to Veterinary medicine. This may also involve outreach in other parts of Scotland and liaising with Veterinary practices.

This is a fixed term contract for a period of 3 years. Hours of work are 37.5 hours per week. A full driving licence is required.
