The Scottish SPCA, Scotland’s only all animal emergency service, is seeking to recruit an Animal Care Assistant for employment at its Lanarkshire Animal Rescue & Rehoming Centre in Hamilton.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of the thousands of abused, abandoned and injured animals rescued by the Scottish SPCA each year.
Practical experience working with animals, a keen interest in animal welfare and excellent customer care skills are essential. Preferably candidates will also have a full UK manual driving licence, and ideally an animal care qualification.
Hours are between 8.30am to 4.45pm, working 5 days out of 14 on a rota basis to include weekends (18.75 hours per week average).
