Rescue is the start of a journey through rehabilitation to release or rehoming. It means helping struggling owners. It means preventing emergency rescues through education. And it’s always relentless. Because the rescues never stop.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Animal Care Assistant to join our Edinburgh and Lothians Animal Rescue & Rehoming Centre on a part time basis.
Previous practical experience working with animals in a similar setting, a keen interest in animal welfare and excellent customer care skills are essential. Preferably candidates will also have a full UK manual driving licence, and ideally an animal care qualification.
Working pattern is 5 days in 14 (37.5 hours over 14 days), working 3 days one week and 2 days the next. Hours of work are 8.30am to 4.45pm on a rota basis to include weekends.
