The Scottish SPCA, Scotland’s only all animal emergency service, is seeking to recruit 2 Animal Care Assistants for employment at its Aberdeenshire Animal Rescue & Rehoming Centre in Banchory.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of the thousands of abused, abandoned and injured animals rescued by the Scottish SPCA each year.

Practical experience working with animals including rescue horses, a keen interest in animal welfare and excellent customer care skills are essential. 1 of the available positions is within the Kennel block and practical experience working with animals and dogs in particular is essential. Preferably candidates will also have a full UK manual driving licence, and ideally an animal care qualification.

Hours are 8.30am to 4.45pm, working 10 days out of 14 on a rota basis to include weekends.
