The Scottish SPCA, Scotland’s only all animal emergency service, is seeking to recruit 2 Animal Care Assistants for employment at its Aberdeenshire Animal Rescue & Rehoming Centre in Banchory.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of the thousands of abused, abandoned and injured animals rescued by the Scottish SPCA each year.

Practical experience working with animals including rescue horsesa keen interest in animal welfare and excellent customer care skills are essential. 1 of the available positions is within the Kennel block and practical experience working with animals and dogs in particular is essential. Preferably candidates will also have a full UK manual driving licence, and ideally an animal care qualification.

Hours are 8.30am to 4.45pm, working 10 days out of 14 on a rota basis to include weekends.
