It means preventing emergency rescues through education. And it’s always relentless. Because the rescues never stop.

An exciting opportunity has arisen with the Scottish SPCA for a Community Manager in the North & East region. 

Reporting to the Regional Operations Lead, the Community Manager will lead the development and implementation of a proactive community engagement program that supports owners and animals in homes across the relevant region. Working closely with the rehoming and fostering team, community fundraising team, regional volunteer coordinator and key stakeholders across the organisation. The role holder will drive community engagement within the region to support the work of the rehabilitation and rehoming teams and increase the “reach” of the Scottish SPCA in the region you are responsible for.

Interested candidates must have a practical experience working with animals, previous experience working in a customer focused environment and working with general public. 

This is a permanent position, working full time hours of 35 per week.  The role will be home based with regular travel throughout your region as required.
