Rescue is the start of a journey through rehabilitation to release or rehoming. It means helping struggling owners. It means preventing emergency rescues through education. And it’s always relentless. Because the rescues never stop.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Animal Care Assistant at our Edinburgh and Lothians Animal Rescue & Rehoming Centre.
Practical experience working with animals is essential for this role (in particular dog and domestic animal experience), a keen interest in animal welfare and excellent customer care skills are essential. Preferably candidates will also have a full UK manual driving licence and ideally an animal care qualification.
Hours are 8.30am to 4.45pm, working 10 days out of 14 on a rota basis to include weekends.
