The Scottish SPCA, Scotland’s animal welfare charity, is seeking to recruit a full-time Policy & Research Assistant for employment at its Headquarters in Dunfermline.

Applicants should have a strong academic record, experience in providing timely research and a keen understanding of UK and local Government policies and politics which relate to the Society. The ideal candidate will be an extremely organised, pro-active and self-motivated individual with a commitment to animal welfare.  

This vacancy will be predominantly remote home working but with a requirement to work from HQ Dunfermline or travel to centres or other locations to meet stakeholders as and when required so a driving licence will be required for this role.

Hours of work are 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday (flexible working discussed at interview with caveat of occasional out of hours may be required).
