The Scottish SPCA, Scotland’s animal welfare charity is seeking to appoint a People Development Adviser to work within the People & Culture team, to shape the Society’s people agenda and transform colleague experience through the creation and implementation of a programme of culture-change initiatives. The role will own the creation and delivery of key people-related projects and experiences in support of the Society’s 10 year vision and strategic plan.
Reporting to the newly appointed Head of People Development, the successful candidate should have at least 3 years’ experience of working in people development/learning role. They should be able to effectively demonstrable experience of working collaboratively across an organisation to design, deliver and evaluate development plans and materials as well as experience of analysing organisational needs and delivering learning & development programmes to address these.
The ideal candidate should have experience of researching, developing and delivering development programmes to deliver effective outcomes for colleagues. Experience of providing expert support in the design of learning interventions in a variety of formats and working with and developing competency & behavioural frameworks would also be essential for the selected candidate.
Hours of work will be 35 hours per week. Applicants must be able to work from home with regular travel to Scottish SPCA locations as required.
