An exciting opportunity has arisen with the Scottish SPCA to join their diverse and passionate communications team based in Dunfermline.

 

The role of Senior Communications & Marketing Advisor requires someone with a flair for producing creative written and multimedia content, a passion for animal welfare and an eye for a good story to help further develop the profile of Scotland’s animal welfare charity.

 

The role will be to maximise awareness of the Scottish SPCA’s brand, producing communications and marketing collateral which generate income, raise awareness and help the Society achieve its business objectives. Protect and enhance the Society’s reputation by dealing with media enquiries, and encourage employees and volunteers to become advocates of the organisation by marketing the Society internally.

 

Applicants must have working in a busy marketing/communications team producing exciting copy for a variety of audiences.   They should also have excellent attention to detail, exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. By joining the communications team you will help make a difference to the thousands of animals rescued by the Scottish SPCA every year.

 

This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, and may involve providing a weekend, evening and public holiday on call service on a rota basis.

 

As the role is primarily office-based, applicants must be able to commute to Dunfermline. A full UK manual driving licence is essential.
