The Scottish SPCA, Scotland’s animal welfare charity, is currently recruiting Seasonal Wildlife Drivers to be based at our Edinburgh & Lothians Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre. This is a fixed term position starting on Monday 28 March 2022 for a period of 6 months.

This position will involve collecting wildlife casualties from our Edinburgh & Lothians Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre and other locations throughout East Central Scotland and transporting them to our National Wildlife Rescue Centre in Fishcross. You will require a keen interest in animal welfare. You will be required to have excellent customer care skills with a proven track record. In addition, a good geographical knowledge of central Scotland or the ability to attain this quickly is essential.

These positions will be working an average of 4 days out of 8 on a rota basis to include weekends, working 7.5 hours per day between the hours of 7.30am and 11pm. Candidates must have a full UK manual driving licence.
