The Scottish SPCA, Scotland’s animal welfare charity, is seeking to recruit a Centre Manager for employment at our Angus, Fife & Tayside Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Petterden.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient running and performance of the Centre. This includes ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare, the production and management of the centre’s budget, staff recruitment, succession planning, employee engagement, knowledge, training, cleanliness and presentation are met and maintained.

Candidates will have a proven track record of management experience, excellent customer care skills, and the ability to lead and motivate staff.  Strong IT skills, practical experience working with animals and a keen interest in animal welfare are also essential. A full UK manual driving licence is required.

Hours of work are 37.5 per week, 10 days out of 14 on a rota basis, to include weekends. Additional hours may be required to be worked. You will be responsible for ensuring that there is always on-call night cover at the centre.

A Society House is provided for the post holder and you will be required to live on site to fully carry out your duties as the Centre Manager.
